Join Milwaukee Audubon Society in partnership with Riveredge Nature Center for a special morning of fall migration bird banding at the MAS Indian Prairie Tribute Planting in Glendale, led by a federally permitted Master Bird Bander.

Experience fall migration up close as wild birds are safely captured, banded, studied and released. See migratory birds in hand and learn what bird banding reveals about their journeys, populations and the habitats they depend on along the way. Stop by anytime between 7 and 11 a.m. and discover how bird research and land conservation work together to protect wildlife here in Milwaukee and far beyond.

Location: Indian Prairie Tribute Planting, Glendale. The prairie is located along Milwaukee River Parkway, about 1 mile south of the Kletzsch Park Dam, between Sunny Point Road and West Civic Drive. Look for the #82 Fire Station on West Civic Drive.
