Projects and Programs

Encourage all communities in Wisconsin to implement sound bird conservation practices by offering public recognition to those that succeed in enhancing the environment for birds and educate the public about the interactions of birds and people and about the contributions birds make to a healthy community.

 

Past Projects

Financial contribution as a major sponsor to fund the development and printing of the Ozaukee Trailside Birding Guide produced by the Ozaukee Interurban Trail Advisory Council (January 2008).

Financial contributions to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center's new environmental education building as well as funding for their raptor program

Financial contributions to Pineview Raptor Rehabilitation Center to subsidize the cost of rehab cages

School supplies to cover the bussing costs for student programs at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center

Scholarship program for environmental education purposes
